2020 in LUNA

This challenging year reminded us of the importance of being responsible to oneself and others, pointed to solidarity and togetherness and above all how important it is to adapt to changes. We are proud that the main feature of our team is responsibility and collegiality and that we all function together as one great team.

This year, Luna put the health of employees in the first place, closed retail stores among the first, introduced work from home and invested in the introduction of safety measures for the protection and safety of employees.
There was no reduction in the number of employees in Luna, on the contrary, Luna showed confidence in its employees by investing in the improvement of work conditions and by purchasing new equipment. Significant investments in professional knowledge, development and motivation of employees were not lacking.
As an international company, Luna achieved exports of more than 35% of its total production in 2020 as well.

In February, His Excellency the Ambassador of the United States of America, Anthony Godfrey, visited LUNA and on that occasion visited the production plant and the management of our company. This visit is a continuation of friendly relations and many years of cooperation on joint projects.

Also, respecting the circumstances and restrictions prescribed by health protection measures, we persisted in organizing traditional gatherings with our LUNA ladies who for many years choose LUNA models for all important events in their lives, but also for everyday comfort and elegance in the workplace. The gathering was marked by getting to know each other, exchanging experiences and beautiful emotions.

March brought great challenges - we faced the first wave of the COVID19 virus pandemic. At a time of shortage of protective masks on the market, Luna focused a large part of its production on their production and provided them for all its employees and members of their families; a significant amount was donated to health centers, hospitals and nursing homes.

The months that followed were marked with solidarity and mutual support of all in every sense within our LUNA business system.

We are proud that in this challenging year for all of us - others have noticed the efforts of "LUNA" to support the development of employees and provide them with the best possible work environment. This year, LUNA was nominated for the prestigious award of the Serbian Association of Managers SAM - in the category "Employer of the Year 2020" as one of the companies that in 2020 offered the best conditions for work and development of professional managers in Serbia.

This year has been enriched with new members of our LUNA family

We are happy with the fact that our company is richer with 9 babies this year. Our dear colleagues brought new members of our Luna family into the world, and they have received a gift card from the company in the form of a package with the most necessary things for the first months.
In the spirit of the holidays, this year we did not miss the opportunity to make the youngest members of the families of our workers happy with New Year's packages. Without the traditional gathering and decorating of the Christmas tree in the premises of the directorate, this time we sent the gifts to their home addresses.

New projects

In response to all the changes that occurred in 2020, and listening to the needs of our ladies, inspired by the desire to feel comfortable, good and satisfied at any time of the day, in December we launched a new urban, more relaxed fashion line - LUNA Casual.
We have paid maximum attention to comfort and convenience as the initial idea with the aim that in absolutely all circumstances ladies will be perfectly styled with casual and luxurious items from our LUNA Casual fashion line.

A new exclusive retail space in the prestigious GALERIJA shopping center is being prepared as part of the Belgrade Waterfront project.

We are looking forward to the new year with the desire to bring good to all of us, we are ready for new projects, endeavors, joys and experiences, and above all we are grateful for the trust shown all these years.
